Peter Thiel developed Palantir, which is well-known for its defence technology. OpenAI has now entered the same space with its own AI solutions.
Previously, OpenAI partnered with defense tech company Anduril Industries to develop AI systems capable of countering aerial drones and unmanned aircraft threats. The collaboration integrates the language models of OpenAI with the military hardware platforms of Anduril.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman stated that the company remains committed to using AI for the good of humanity. He also stated that OpenAI actively supports US-led initiatives to guarantee AI promotes democratic ideals.
