ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Election Commission has issued the official timetable for the upcoming elections to three national sports federations. The elections will take place on June 20, 2025, at the PSB Coaching Centre on Ferozepur Road in Lahore.
The Alpine Club of Pakistan election starts at 10:00 a.m. The Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation will vote at 2:30 PM, followed by the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation’s election at 4:00 PM.
Important Dates and and Election Guidelines
The commission set June 12 as the deadline for submitting candidacy papers, voter lists, and objections to the PSB headquarters in Islamabad. Officials will review nominations from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. They will provide preliminary listings by 2:00 PM on the same day.
Stakeholders must file their concerns by 10:00 a.m. on June 13. The commission will declare its decisions by 12:00 p.m. and release the final lists at 3:00 p.m.
On election day, the commission will broadcast all election-related operations. However, neither candidates nor voters will get travel or daily allowances (TA/DA).
PSB Emphasizes Strict Adherence to Schedule
Chief Election Commissioner Waseem Majeed Malik, Zohaib Hassan Gondal, and Babar Sohail all signed the formal notice. They asked all stakeholders to adhere to the schedule strictly. The commission will not accept documents submitted after the deadlines.
