Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Visits Karachi to Honor Pakistan Navy’s Role in Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos
KARACHI – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Karachi for a one-day official visit to acknowledge the Pakistan Navy’s exceptional performance during Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos. The visit underscores the government’s commitment to honouring the courage, professionalism, and dedication of the naval forces in safeguarding the country’s maritime borders amid recent acts of aggression.
Upon arrival at the airport, the Prime Minister was received by Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, and other senior government officials. The Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, will formally welcome the Prime Minister and accompany him throughout the day’s scheduled engagements.
Honoring Maritime Heroes

During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to personally meet with and commend Navy personnel who played a crucial role in defending Pakistan’s maritime interests. The interaction will serve as a direct acknowledgement of the bravery and strategic expertise demonstrated by the officers and sailors involved in the operation.
