Get ready to enter the danger zone — an immersive Top Gun adventure is officially landing in Las Vegas in the summer of 2028.
Paramount Global has partnered with Advent Allen Entertainment to create Top Gun Las Vegas, a high-energy experience set to open at the Strat Hotel, Casino & Tower. The attraction will feature gravity-defying thrill rides, fighter jet simulators, live entertainment, and a reimagined Hard Deck bar inspired by Penny’s iconic hangout in Top Gun: Maverick.

Visitors will have the chance to embark on their own “Top Gun” mission, complete with high-stakes, pulse-pounding action using advanced ride systems and immersive technology. For those who prefer to stay grounded, the Hard Deck bar and restaurant will offer meals and live piano sing-alongs — so brush up on Penny’s bar rules and the lyrics to Great Balls of Fire.
Mark Advent, co-founder of Advent Allen Entertainment and the creative force behind the New York-New York Hotel & Casino, shared his excitement:
“The Top Gun films are among the most emotionally charged stories of our time. We’re proud to unite with Paramount to bring this epic to life — delivering experiences that reflect teamwork, speed, and the thrill of flying. We’re pulling out all the stops to take Top Gun to new heights on the Strip and beyond.”
Pam Kaufman, President and CEO of International Markets, Global Consumer Products, and Experiences at Paramount, called the project a major milestone for the Top Gun franchise:
“Paramount is committed to delivering authentic, mind-blowing experiences for fans. Mark Advent and Bill Allen are the perfect team to make this destination soar.”
While it remains uncertain whether stars from Top Gun or Top Gun: Maverick will appear in any form, the experience is designed to fully immerse guests in the spirit of the original 1986 classic and its 2022 sequel.
If successful, Top Gun Las Vegas could be just the beginning. Paramount and Advent Allen Entertainment revealed that they are already considering expanding the experience to multiple locations across the U.S. and worldwide.
This isn’t the first time Top Gun has inspired real-world thrills. In the past, four Top Gun-branded roller coasters existed at Paramount parks in the U.S., though their names have since been changed following the sale of the parks.
Prepare for takeoff — Top Gun Las Vegas is coming, and it’s set to be a high-flying, unforgettable adventure.
