Pakistan Saudi Umrah Visit Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, along with Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and other senior members of the Cabinet, performed Umrah late Thursday night (Pakistan time) in Saudi Arabia. The Prime Minister was in Saudi Arabia on an official visit at the invitation of the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Prior to this visit, Prime Minister Sharif and Crown Prince Salman had held talks in Islamabad during his recent visit to Pakistan. This trip highlights Islamabad and Riyadh’s burgeoning diplomatic and economic partnership amidst increasing cooperation regionally.

In an unprecedented and extraordinary action, the Holy Kaaba door in Makkah was specially opened for the Pakistani delegation to make a special visit during this holy pilgrimage.
