Dubai, UAE – 3 July 2025: Emirates Chocolate Service 2025 in celebration of World Chocolate Day on 7 July, Emirates has revealed a sweet success. The airline served an impressive 60 million chocolates onboard over the last year, which is two million more than the year before. This remarkable figure reflects passengers’ growing appetite for luxury and Emirates’ continued dedication to top-tier service.

A Signature Touch to the ‘Fly Better’ Experience

To enhance onboard dining, Emirates includes artisan chocolate with meals in every class. This special detail adds elegance to the journey. The airline serves these treats to passengers traveling to over 140 global destinations, helping make even the longest flights memorable.

Notably, Economy Class travelers consumed 36.6 million individual chocolates. The recently introduced Premium Economy Class accounted for more than 1.06 million chocolates, demonstrating its rising popularity. Meanwhile, Business Class passengers enjoyed 9.1 million pieces. In First Class, where chocolate is unlimited and guests receive premium take-home boxes, passengers consumed 13.4 million pieces, packed into 122,000 gourmet chocolate boxes.

Premium Brands and Rotating Chocolate Menus

Rather than sticking with one selection, Emirates refreshes its chocolate offerings every six months. This ensures variety for frequent travelers and highlights the airline’s global taste. Emirates carefully partners with high-end chocolatiers worldwide to deliver an elevated experience.

Among the current selections are:

  • Coco Jalila (UAE) – A local favorite with handcrafted chocolates.
  • Valrhona (France) – Renowned for its bold, refined flavors.
  • Canonica and Neuhaus (Belgium) – Experts in pralines and truffles.

Selections cover dark, milk, and white chocolates, along with bonbons, ganache, pralines, and fruit-filled pieces. Chocolates are chosen for their flavor, texture, presentation, and sustainable sourcing. The airline also keeps up with market trends, offering passengers the finest options available.

Chocolate Desserts on the Menu

Beyond individual chocolates, Emirates offers a diverse dessert lineup. These indulgent creations are available in all cabin classes and cater to various dietary needs.

Emirates Chocolate Service 2025 offers premium chocolates to First Class passengers onboard.

First Class Features:

  • Pistachio and Chocolate Mousse Cake – A rich blend of nuts and cocoa.
  • Warm Chocolate Fondant – Served with raspberry coulis and mascarpone cream.
  • Vegan Chocolate Tart – Accented with apricot compote and vanilla quenelle.

Business Class Options:

  • Onyx Avocado Chocolate Tart (Vegan) – A plant-based masterpiece.
  • Banana Mango and Milk Chocolate Dome – Fruity and smooth.
  • Chocolate Mocha Marquise – Covered in salted caramel.

Premium Economy Treats:

  • Chocolate Mousse Cake – With a tangy passion fruit core and strawberry sauce.

Economy Class Dessert:

  • Chocolate Mousse – Smothered in a traditional crème anglaise.

Moreover, passengers on longer routes can enjoy chocolate snack bars. During festive occasions, children receive chocolate lollipops, making the journey extra special. In First Class, guests can find Lindt 85% dark chocolate in their exclusive amenity baskets.

The A380 Onboard Lounge also stocks a range of chocolate snacks. Travelers can help themselves to M&Ms, chocolate cakes, and vegan mini treats, making their lounge time as indulgent as their flight.

Chocolate Continues in Emirates Lounges

The celebration doesn’t stop in the sky. At Dubai International Airport, Emirates offers a rich chocolate experience in its First and Business Class lounges. Here, passengers enjoy freshly made desserts crafted by the Emirates MasterChef team.

In the First Class Lounge:

  • Homemade Chocolate Ice Cream – A creamy in-house creation.
  • Costa Coffee Hot Chocolate – Comfort in a cup.
  • Sacher Cake – The famous Austrian torte layered with apricot jam.
  • Chocolate and Pistachio Kunafa – A regional twist on tradition.
  • Marveille Cake – A mix of mousse, crunchy meringue, and praline.
  • White Chocolate Ganache Cake – Garnished with strawberries and hibiscus.

In the Business Class Lounge:

  • Chocolate Chou Pastry – Filled with chocolate crème and topped with glaze.
  • Hazelnut Crunchie – Features sponge, praline, and mousse layers.
  • Vegan Chocolate Brownie – Rich in cocoa and made without dairy.

Through this extensive lounge menu, Emirates shows that its commitment to luxury extends beyond the cabin.

A Perfect Pairing with World Chocolate Day

As World Chocolate Day approaches, Emirates reaffirms its place among the best in global hospitality. The 60 million chocolates served onboard tell a clear story—chocolate is not just a treat, it’s a key element of the Emirates experience.

The airline’s thoughtful curation, rotation strategy, and partnerships with premium global chocolatiers help keep passengers satisfied and engaged. Additionally, its support for sustainable sourcing reflects a growing commitment to responsible service.

Conclusion: The Sweet Taste of Emirates Luxury

Emirates has turned a simple indulgence into a signature luxury experience. By offering world-class chocolates and desserts at every level of travel, the airline ensures that every journey feels personal and premium.

This strategy has clearly worked. With demand growing year after year, Emirates may soon surpass even this year’s record. Chocolate has become a symbol of its dedication to detail, comfort, and delight.

Whether you’re flying Economy or First, enjoying chocolate onboard Emirates is more than a snack—it’s a moment of joy, indulgence, and celebration at 35,000 feet.

Emirates continues to redefine luxury travel with exceptional service, setting new standards in premium dining and inflight chocolate experiences globally.
