Emirates resumes scheduled operations with minimal disruption following regional events on June 23. The airline was back to normal operations within hours through the rapid implementation of strong contingency and disruption plans. No flight diversion occurred, few cancellations, and some flights had a slightly longer route because of congested airspace.

Emirates continued to operate business as usual despite the fast-changing regional developments in its global network. In the past two weeks, the airline has diverted flights to prevent conflict areas and still operate scheduled flights. By doing so, Emirates managed to carry more than 1.7 million passengers on over 5,800 flights, providing reliable travel at the time when customers needed it the most and confirming its commitment to safe and reliable travel.

Transparent Customer Support, Safety, and Responsiveness

Emirates immediately halted flights to conflict-affected regions but maintained flights to all other destinations. The flights to Amman and Beirut were temporarily suspended but quickly restarted, which indicates the flexibility of the airline and its focus on safety. These quick changes made sure that thousands of families could start their summer holidays without much delay.

The airline is concerned with the safety of passengers and crew as its first priority. Emirates does not fly over unsafe areas and closely collaborates with aviation authorities, tracking the current situation and performing constant risk analysis. All flight routes are subject to stringent international safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Over the last two weeks, Emirates has been updating its customers regularly via its site and social media. Its reservations departments were very helpful to the affected travellers and they were rebooked and kept informed in the process.
